Choice Board 4

This choice board is for the week of 5/4 & the week of 5/11.

Click on the words choice board 4 to open the new choice board. We have tried to make resources easier to find. Therefore, you will see more links on the choice board itself. The video links are italicized and blue while the links to the documents are just blue underlined. Below you will also have access to the folders for the video links and documents if they do not work within the choice board itself.

Directions: The students are expected to do 3/4 boxes a day (do what is best for your child). Please start by doing the boxes at the top of the columns. Start at the top and work your way down; the boxes build on each other. We have included an Extras page. We usually like to honor parents during this time of the year and though it isn't exactly how we would normal celebrate parents we did include some ideas for the students to do. We love our parents. :)

Review all Red Words

Here is a daily check-list to use with your child to keep track of what needs to be done every day. Add some fun weekly goals as well; like playing with chalk, learn a new game, or make cookies. Something to build memories with our family as we stay home during this time.

Choice Board 1: Hello parents and students!

Due to the closing of our school for the next couple of weeks, we have created some assignments for you to complete at home to continue learning digitally. We have put together a choice board of assignments to complete over the next couple of weeks. Each day, students will choose 3 assignments from different subject areas. The assignments for each day should take a total of about 1 hour to complete. We have included both digital and paper assignments to accommodate all learners. The login information as well as necessary documents to complete the assignments are included in this post as well. Please reach out to your teacher via email or ClassDojo if you have any questions or concerns about the assignments. Bring any completed paperwork assignments with you when you return to school. Teachers will be checking completed ReadWorks assignments online.

Continue to check emails daily. We are all working together to make sure this time is productive and beneficial to all of our students and families! Thank you for your support.

Sincerely,
Second grade teachers

You will find all of the assignments on the choice board.

(Print a copy but also save the digital copy because it has links  that you can just click! If it is blue, it is a link so click! :))
