August 8th-12th

This week we will be working on the following:

Grammar: Identifying nouns: Common vs. Proper

Reading: Learning how to pick a good pick book using I-PICK. Learning about different reading strategies and practicing Daily 5.

Writing: We are identifying where we can get our ideas for writing and how to extend our ideas.

Math: Place Value. We are learning how to represent numbers differently through number form, base 10 form, expanded form, and word form.

Science: We are exploring seasons. We are learning characteristics about the four different seasons.
