Grammar & Reading: We will be doing CELEBRATE! activities during our grammar and reading blocks. Each day a balloon is popped and an activity is done according to the letter that is popped. We already started these fun activities with C and E this week.
Writing: This nine weeks will be reviewing narrative, informational, and persuasive genres in our writing. The students will also be working on a writing portfolio to go with them to 3rd grade with all three writing pieces in it and also to share with you at our Author's breakfast.
Math: This week we will continue adding and subtracting 3 digit numbers. Students are learning how to use the stacking strategy. (The good ole strategy we all know and love :))
